Measuring instrument for natural wood preservatives

3K-Factory of Electronics developed  a fast and cost-effective measuring instrument for natural wood preservatives. The heartwood fluorescence measuring instrument has been developed in cooperation with Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).


In the future, the developed measuring device and measuring method can be utilized in wood harvesting and in the mechanical forest industry.

Device development was implemented as part of the BioLed- project funded by the Regional Council of Etelä-Savo through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
